FACTS: 1 in 5 women in the United States is raped in their lifetime.

We're soccer players working to change that. With your help, we can.

Tackling Consent is a project developed by soccer players to raise funds to end sexual violence before it starts.

How? ReThink, a non-profit organization that teaches adolescent boys how to have healthy relationships centered around consent-- and introduces them to positive, rewarding expressions of masculinity. With your help, we can build a culture where sexual violence is no longer the norm.

Here's how it works:

Participating players donate in a number of ways (i.e., $10 per game played; $10 per goal; $10 per assist, etc.) each participating player who takes up the challenge agrees to nominate 3 new players or fans to join the #TacklingConsentChallenge. The goal (pun intended) is to raise $5,000.

Fans can take the challenge as well — by pledging $10 (or any amount) throughout the season.

We’re encouraging donations - one-time donations or recurring donations. The point is to raise enough money to make a difference - and end sexual violence before it starts.
